We are incredibly proud to announce the success of our recent fundraising effort in support of Cancer Research UK. On 15th June 2025, VEVO Lighting & Acoustics Director Nick and his son Will took on the challenge of the Great North Swim — and thanks to the generosity and encouragement of our supporters, they raised an incredible £1,630 for life-saving cancer research.
The Great North Swim, held annually in the beautiful setting of Lake Windermere, is one of the UK’s most iconic open water events. Covering a one-mile course in cold, open water is no easy feat, but Nick and Will embraced the challenge with determination and a clear goal: to make a meaningful contribution to the fight against cancer.
As a family-run business, VEVO Lighting & Acoustics has always believed in giving back to the community and standing behind causes that impact people on a deeply personal level. Cancer touches the lives of so many, and we’re honoured to have played a small part in helping fund the research that brings us closer to better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
